We had a great time at the Rodeo Drive-in! The concession staff were quick and friendly and the parking staff helped us figure out the lights on our rental car. We had good sound through the radio station. The movies start late in the summer so we couldn't stay for the second show but we enjoyed our experience.

Didn't love the slow line getting in but what is one guy supposed to do on his own? Pre-purchase your tickets online to move the line faster. The chef was especially awesome.

We saw Sonic 2 tonight and this place is amazing! I went to drive-ins all the time as a kid and loved it, and this felt exactly the same. They have great food. I had the Philly Cheesesteak. When the movie was over, our car wouldn't start, and they had an employee come out with a jump box. 5 stars in every category I can think of. We drove an hour to get here and it was well worth it.

My gosh! I had the most awesome experience! Arrived early, found excellent parking in the front. We have an SUV and our trunk was open. No one in front of us. A few people beside us. The screen was super clean and clear. The grass was clean and clear. We rented the radio thing to hear the movie for $5 so we didn't have to worry about our car battery or have to constantly fiddle around with anything because newer cars just aren't made for these activities. The staff was friendly. Bathrooms were clean. I looooooved that they had a playground because it gave the kids something to do before the movie and during intermission. I will totally go again, and again and again! Great Summer activity! Oh yeah... I highly recommend taking a nap before coming! It's a long night if you stay for 2 movies! 😜

3 different screens available with 2 movies showing on each screen and yes they do start at the same times.
Yes, it is a family friendly establishment. They tend to keep similar ratings together so you won't be watching a kid movie and horror film on the same screen.
No sorry they don't allow camping.
They will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sundays through the end of September
Yes. It starts tomorrow, July 2nd and is showing with the new Men in Black.
I believe you can enter the theater until the start of the second movie. Come during intermission so you don't disturb other viewers. Your choice of parking will be limited though. Go to the website to see when they allow the last car in.
Per person
Blankets, pillows and the heater in your car.
Late October to November usually might be longer since theaters aren't open;). Plus the rodeo rox;)
"Our average season runs from the first weekend of march until the last weekrnd in September. Weather and available films can lengthen or shorten the season." However, they appear to still be open. https://www.rodeodrivein.com/faq.html
Yes, apparently they're going to try to stay open through October this year. If you have access to the internet (I kindly remind other responders this is a privilege not everyone has), you can find listings for what they're playing each day.
If you don't arrive 30 minutes before the movie, you will be a little late. They'll take their online ticket sales into consideration for the occupancy limit. If you plan on buying anything from the snack area, show up VERY early
Yes
Not sure they said they would be open at stage 3
No. They are available at the gate.
http://www.rodeodrivein.com Normally will give the line up of the movies and which two are being shown together.
Not sure. You should be able to contact them and ask. Haven't seen anything in their newsletter personally.

Yes, until next weekend then they're off-season.
It was raining when I went there but maybe they'd cancel if a lot of rain was expected ahead of time
Don't know, but it's a lot of fun.
I am not sure. But if they do let you in with a motor home they will more than likely make you park in the back at the top of the hill. SUVs usually take up an entire slot so an RV might prove to be difficult
Lion king .iwas thier last week .
Yes, as a matter of fact you can listen straight through your radio. Your station to listen will be printed on your receipt.
There are sections for Van's and big trucks and the area slopes pretty well for everyone to see
The first features start when the sun sets. 9:45/10ish pm.
I have seen a small maybe 5 year old child with their parents at dead pool 2... With this being a drive-in theater it's up to the parents really.
The dates are listed on the website. There are four boxed sections, three of which show which movies are playing, the fourth shows the schedule. All movies start at dusk with the movie shown on the left playing first and the movie in the right playing directly after a brief intermission following the first movie
this is from there most recent post on may 30th.. "Hey Swap Meet fans! Our weekly summer Swap-N-Shop is open starting this Sunday, June 2nd! If you have unused stuff lying around (and who doesn't?) sell it for cash in your pocket at our swap meet! Our swap meet box office opens for buyers at 8am, and line-up sometimes starts early, so keep that in mind. The cost to sell out here is $20 for a space between two poles, approximately two car widths in size. Sellers with trailers may be required to purchase two spaces. Please note we do not allow the sale of food, drink, weapons or pornography of any kind. The cost to shop is $1.00 a car, so bring your friends along! We close the box office and ask people to be wrapping up by 2pm. REMEMBER to take any trash and unwanted items with you when you go. Have a great weekend, and we'll see you at the Swap-N-Shop!"
I know you didn't have to have a radio but im not sure about now. I would call and check just to make sure. You could even bring a small portable radio and it would work just fine.
Yes. But car stereo is awesome. Renting a radio at the snack shack works but it you have a smart phone you can use a radio app. Just not very good quality compared to car stereo. I would rather rent a cat for the night. Haha. But that's me.
No but you can park a second car in the other lot. And pay for both lots. That way you finish one film and can walk over to your second car for the second one. They do play the same movies all three nights
Open already. S/b going to daily schedule soon. Right now only Friday thru Sunday
Go to their website and you will see each screen is a double feature but it's only $10 for adults.
They broadcast to FM radio so any radio that receives standard radio stations is all you need.
Right now weekends only, spring time. June it changes to 7 days a week, summer and schools let out for summer vacation
Best way to get in touch is through Facebook
Their website has an emailed schedule you can subscribe to http://www.rodeodrivein.com/ They also have a Facebook page that you can contact them with specific questions.
$10 general. $7 for kids and seniors. 5 year or younger are free
The season usually starts in March and goes through September. The gates usually open around 6:30, and the movies start when it gets dark.
No the swap meet usually runs from the first Sun in June to the last Sun in August
You can bring your own food. They don't care. They change the movies up a bit once a week on Fridays. So what starts Friday will run thru the fallowing Thursday. Do refer to their website or Facebook page for the schedule though.
Yes, they absolutely accept cash.
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 10 dollars a person I think
From their website they have til July 5th (closed the 4th). Incredibles 2 and Solo. Incredibles 2 and Avengers. Ocean 8 and Jurrassic world
Its on their FAQ page. ADMISSION:Â $9.75 for Adults, $6.75 for ages 12 and under, and Seniors 55+. It's a great value for a double feature
There are 4 movies that suggest making a Jurassic park is a bad idea
No you can't, however you can or cook everything and put it in thermal protectors and bring it in and set up
They get new movies about week and rotate the older movie to the second movie.
If you have a monster truck you can do anything you want
Turn to station
I paid for two movies and did not live till 3:00am
Super easy to ask Google 'what time is local sunset?' As long as your phone has location services/GPS on, you will know when sunset is. Also works with 'Sunrise' or substitute 'local' for a city and/or state combination.
Yes, and the play area for the kids is awesome! It has its own park
It is open until end of September . Is what the website says all depending on weather.
Yes! Just make sure you choose the correct dates and movie because they are not refunding. We had a fantastic experience just recently, only got out to use the bathroom.
They only have shows Fri, Sat and Sun. You can check their website to check dates and movies.
