The management at Chestnut Lake work very hard to keep the customers and the grounds clean. They sincerely take pride in the work they do. The bathrooms and showers are impeccable. They have events for their guests and they have gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with my service dog. Literally everyday I head out to either the pool or walking my dog they are friendly and kind. Prior to coming my service dog vest broke and I had one shipped to the office and found out upon arrival deliveries are supposed to be sent to another location. I apologized up and down and they very simple said no worries its something need. We totally understand. The landscaping is very nice with flowers throughout the park. Chestnut Lake is part of the thousand island trails rv pass which is a wonderful campers program where it let's you stay camping at their campgrounds for a low monthly fee and you have no cost for camping. They have a pool table, a boat and canoe along with horseshoes and many other fun amenities. This site is a campers dream. They also have a great playground.... With or without kids you will find it to be a wonderful camping experience......happy camping

Not the worst park we have ever stayed at, but definitely not the best. The staff were all very friendly, which is rare in this state from our experience. The spots are extremely tight, and our 38' travel trailer had a hard time getting parked smoothly without the help of friendly neighbors moving their trucks for us and helping us back in. Make sure to lock all of your stuff up, even those dinky sway bar pins. One of ours was stolen while there for our week. There was no shade where we parked, so I would advise to avoid this park during peak heat in Jersey. The pool was fun and didn't feel overly cramped, and the mini golf looked fun as well (we have a toddler so not quite ready for that adventure yet). The pond has a ton of lillypads in it but could still make for a fun paddling afternoon.

Very crowded, sites sit on top of one another with no screening or shade. You would have more privacy camping on the median of the GS parkway. Site picnic table had broken board's . Good luck selling this one Thousand Trails

We stayed here as a Thousand Trails member during the week. Beautiful pool area and nice playground for children. Lounge had a pool table & flat screen TV. Families were fishing in the lake. Sites are a bit small but do have picnic tables and fire pits. Quite a few flies but we were close to the water. About 30 minutes from Atlantic City and 15 minutes from Egg Harbor Township. Hopefully miniature golf will be updated in the future. We would stay here again.

Yes. I don't know if they all have them but I know they have them.
11 am is check in, I'm not sure how much later. The spots are not assigned doo you gotta get there early enough to pick a good spot.
If you have reservations and arrive after office hours, they leave your welcome package in the mailbox with complete instructions. We were there last weekend and it was open.
They only rent cabins and you would have to call the campground for rates
