for 25 years i have loved DCU, and recommended it to many people, but I am now looking for a new bank as their new online banking system is unusable. The old one was great, but the new one is a disaster

This was a GREAT Credit Union. They listened to their customers and supported them. Little by little they have taken away the benefits that set them apart. Now they have transitioned to a new banking platform. This platform no longer has a budgeting tool and does not support exporting any information to Quicken, or Mint. I quickly looked at one of their NH Competitors who made a transition at the end of 2021 and they have step by step instructions for exporting information to budgeting platforms. In addition, they provide a tool integrated in their platform. I found this by searching on their web site with the word Quicken. Try searching DCU for the word Quicken, does not even recognize the word. Not sure if the typical financial greed has taken hold at DCU or what but I would recommend selecting another institution for your banking.

I have worked with them for over 10 years and I will most likely be looking elsewhere very soon. Main reasons: 1- Monthly transfer error on their system led to late payment fee and note that I am being blamed for despite initial investigation clearing me from it. 2- Faulty and unreliable electronic record keeping . They seem unable to have information up to date. 3- Slow and unhelpful customer service. In summary after 10 years with them I can no longer trust them and based on their falling reviews nor can anyone else. Run away.

I desperately needed some documents notarized. I went into the bank, was able to email them the documents (my printer isn't working), had them notarized and even faxed for me. Every one I dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside to DCU is that they are a hometown bank. There aren't enough locations.
