We were driving into calais noticed something wrong with our brakes. Went straight to vip. They squeezed us in at 4pm found and fixed the problem! Great customer service… staff is friendly ! Thanks for making our vehicle road safe again in such a quick manner!

I was Travelling round trip from Chicago to Deer Island, NB. Sitting on the ferry on the way out, in the setting sunlight I noticed a bulge in the side of my front tire, which would need to be replaced on my way home. No other tire places could get my sized tire in time for my return trip except for VIP! Plus, they were open on Sunday, the day I was starting my drive home. I made a noon appointment, arrived early and they took me right away. VIP was exactly on my route home, super convenient. 20 minutes later, I was on the road and much safer with a new tire. Staff was professional and friendly! I mean really, if Wrigley Field were in Calais, I'd move there in a hot minute.

I was there with a friend who was having her summer tires put on. The staff was very friendly and professional and the wait time was remarkably short. Their price, at least for this service, is competitive with others in the area. I am definitely going to consider them the next time I need work done.

Extremely overpriced. They offer a free inspection on their sign, but because i didn't pass it, I was charged $12.50. Their customer service manager did reach out to me after seeing this review to refund the $12.50. It was explained to me that their old manager who is now gone gave away free inspections and that has now since stopped with their departure. When I explained how I felt like they were overpriced, only then i was informed they warrant their work for the "lifetime" of the vehicle in such a way that if my repair were to fail that they would then fix it again for free. This was not explained to me probably because they only had 1 single man working in their garage that day(while three sat at the counter), and he was terrific, he took the time to show me what needed to be replaced and covered a few more things. At the end of the day I paid nearly half to get the same job done in a local shop; many would consider a direct competitor. This shop actually took the time to let me see my part options and have a discount on how many hours their book recommended because they felt like they could do it faster, and they did at a lower hourly rate completed by ASE certified mechanics. I've increased my rating to two stars because they did make an effort to make it right.
