Absolutely amazing gluten free Chinese food!! Seriously, you have to come here if you're on a gluten free diet. Amazing food, tasty tea, and a peaceful setting. I saw a couple reviews complaining about the menu and service, but those are bull. You scan a QR code for their MASSIVE menu, that's all. Additionally, I was told by a Vietnamese friend that it's culturally common with many Asian restaurants for a waiter to come to the table when you politely wave them over, not randomly and repeatedly bothering you to check in. People need to be more mindful of other cultures. The service here was wonderful and very polite, and the hostess was friendly. 100% would recommend coming here.

Updated in 2022: I went there several times after my initial review. Not very satisfying. Depends on what I ordered and when I ordered, the taste various a lot. Sometimes delicious, some times the raw material seems not fresh, or the flavor was off. Also, my most recent visit earlier this year, I ordered sweet and sour rib(糖醋排骨), the rib was bad and stink! Smelled disgusting. I asked the waitress to take it back. However, I was very disappointed. Original post 2019 Best authentic Shanghai Dish you can get in the Boston area! Pros: delicious food, a lot of special food that I seldom see in other restaurant. The owner has 35+ years of experience running this restaurant. Cons: serving is slow. Sometimes it is a little rude. It may not be the best service, but I highly recommend the dishes! I will definitely go there again.

I've heard great things about Uncle Cheung' and wanted to give it a try. Worst decision ever. First impression after going in, there aren't any servers. We waited a couple minutes until the lady noticed us and asked us to wait. Most of the tables were not cleaned and she asked us to scan the menu and write down what we wanted to order and hand it back to her. Yeah expect to do some research if you don't know what you are ordering because no one will be explaining it to you. Food was really below average. The stir fry noodles we ordered were hard/undercooked and almost cold. Soup was warm. Soursweet Spareribs had a weird taste and the pork kidney had like 5 big pieces with tons of veggies covered. The portions look normal but the actual meat was so so minimal that honestly it's not even worth going again. The server was the same lady but she didn't ask us if we wanted anything else however they will automatically charge you 18-20% service fee when you didn't get any service lol.

Not authentic. Service is pretty much done it by customers checking the menu online and write it by ourselves. And ask waitress to come when we are ready. Even need to ask add more dish during. Also the final receipt total amount is already 18% tip for 3 people and you can't revise it. Food is small portion. Has hunan duck and lamb, and it 70% broccoli and pepper. Its not human style at all -not spicy at all. Won't invite friends to eat here anymore.

They have been preparing delicious Gluten free food for more than 30 years and are very educated in the subject of cross contamination.
I also recall a Japanese restaurant on rt 9 heading east, but it was not the same building as Uncle Cheung. They had some upstairs seating. I have looked around for that place but am certain it was redeveloped
We only doing curb side pick up take out service
A long time I've been going there for over seven eight years gluten free food Great food
