Terrible customer service experience. I went in today to buy some seafood. One man helped me get some salmon and shrimp. I was about to walk away from the fish counter when I saw a tray of fish eggs. Another man came to me from the behind the counter (a Hispanic man) and I asked him how must the fish eggs would cost. He said $5 and I agreed. He then pointed to the tip jar on the counter and told me to put another $5 in there. I had no cash on me but found a dollar in quarters in my purse and gave it to him. He gave it right back to me and said “No.” He said “No $5 for the tip then no eggs!” I thought he was kidding but he was not! I looked for a manager to speak with but no one there claimed to be the manager. So I just told the cashier what happened when I checked out. Shocking that he would try to extort me for a tray of fish eggs!! I’ve never had a more shocking customer service experience in my life! I shop here weekly and never would have expected this to happen.

Bought a few bags of “花蛤” (clams) from this place, but found a lot of dirt in them, not exactly eatable. Buyers be aware, the products have defects. Normally, the “花蛤” needs to be processed in the assembly to clear the dirt, so the products are defective. I grew up near the ocean, and I haven't never seen the product as bad as this. I called the office and was told this is a supplier issue that they won't be able to do anything, quote "this is similar to different flavor in yogurt!" unquote. A neighboring supermarket c-mart offer a similar product, but never had a problem like this.

I LOVE THEIR PRODUCE! The freshest produce in this part of Quincy. Shaws, nope. Star Market, nope. Stop and Shop, nope. Kam Man, nope. Roche Bros, nope. Go here for the freshest produce. I haven't even mentioned the Seafood! The freshest caught seafood!!! My new favorite place to shop for food!
