I have shopped with Tom Thumb since the 1980's, however, after today that will not be the case. After a multitude of problems over the last 5 years (this dates back to pre-covid) I'm done. Many times in loading my trunk the person has placed heavy items on top of fruit, veggies and bread. They stack them so high that TWICE I have opened the trunk to have heavy boxes fall out and injure me. The manager over pick up and delivery is rude but nothing is ever done about it. She has been rude to me and my kids. The final straw is the corporate customer service. After months of IT issues on my account and approximately 25-30 phone calls the issue is still not fixed and they could care less. I did finally get a call back today (the only one I have received after 5-6 requests) and the attitude of Eddie in Fresh Pass was really bad. I could tell he didn't really care about keeping my business, so it will go elsewhere. Can't wait till HEB opens till then I will shop ANYWHERE but there. It's too bad I have been a loyal customer for almost 35 years!

First time ever using Tom Thumb’s Drive Up and Go function, whereby you order online for store pickup. I placed my order at 6:19pm with a confirmation email stating my order would be ready between 7-8pm. At 8:15pm I head to store on my way back home not having received a confirmation email inquiring the status as I am to depart the next morning out of town. Well come to find out the department who fulfills Drive Up and Go leaves at 6pm and will not return until 5am the next morning. No one in the store will be able to help you fulfill the order, so at this point you can only cancel. It’s absolutely ridiculous that Tom Thumb has a system that takes your order and even allows you to schedule for pickup the same day only to find out you were duped. Tom Thumb you need to update your system with cutoff times to avoid situations like this and make the consumer experience simpler and straightforward.

Wasn't a bad experience until I had to deal with Eric at the check out counter. If your management and you're reading this you need to have a serious conversation with this guy about what Customer Service is about. There are people that belong in the business and there are people by their actions should never have anything to do with Customer Service and based on this experience with Eric he should never deal with people at all. Never once said hi never once made eye contact never once thanked me never once did anything to impress me or make me want to come back and shop at this location. It's amazing that people can ruin your experience so much that you do not want to patronize an establishment anymore.

Nice big store with lots of stuff . I like the bakery section . They have a small fan shop too with sporting merchandise in it and-a Glacier water dispenser at the gate.
