I recommend you find a safer alternative if you can. After the intense, over the phone screening process, one would assume that Bristol Lodge is a squeaky clean, safe environment. It's not. The screen is just a charade. The staff are tired, burnt out, and dull. There is an abundance of alcohol and drug use among guests. They have not had new Management in close to a decade. They portray themselves as having a zero tolerance policy for substance abuse, yet it runs rampant at this facility. They really need to revamp this place from top to bottom.

Wonderful place for the homeless , its clean and nice but the employees steal and act shady . they act like its a jail.

I called the shelter the woman said they had a top bunk open and to be there at 4pm. I arrive there and the man who staffs the shelter at night didn't speak or understood English very well. He told me he needed to call his boss who told him I couldn't stay because of my service dog. Well I call the woman back and argue with her then I left. I mean it's 2019 and society still doesn't accept service dogs.
