Being refurbished. Massive cathedral!! Well light. Inspiring murals and vivid colorful stained glass windows. Large elaborate vivid carvings adorn a Massive central central alter and walls. Relays the feeling of calm and serenity. Uplifting sermons and inspiring words.

St. Joseph's cathedral is a delightful and beautiful parish. The choir is outstanding. Great parishioners as well.

I live an hour away in northern New Hampshire. I’ve converted from atheism in the past few years. I’ve taken a journey through all denominations of Christianity and finally have chosen Catholicism. In my quest of rigorous study and truth seeking, I have learned many things that disturbed me about how most Catholic churches operate today. It has been very difficult to find a church that I trust in. I have even been to some “Catholic masses“ where there is no reverence for the Eucharist. I once attended a mass where the body of Christ was dropped on the floor and then tossed casually onto the altar to be dealt with later like piece of paper to be thrown in the trash can. I literally want to cry thinking about it. Needless to say I’ve lost faith and trust in many churches and my biggest challenge has been to find one that I can call home. St. Joseph’s Cathedral feels like it might be that place for me. So much so that I am willing to commute two hours every Sunday just to attend services. I pray the Holy Spirit continues to bless this church. I fear we are running out of sanctuary’s and true houses of worship. 😞

Unfortunately the main church was locked up, but we were able to spend some time in the small daily Mass chapel, which was beautiful. I would love to return and see the rest.
