Wish I could give negative five stars....... disgusting customer service and everything you read below on these reviews is accurate.... what a disgrace. Can't wait for open enrollment next year to dump these clowns.

The worst insurance provider I have ever had. I purchased both medical and dental through the ACA. The initial signup was a nightmare. Confusion over billing and coverage and CSR's that do not speak or understand clear english resulted in many many many hours (dozens) of phone calls into their center. Currently I face knee replacement surgery and I have been given both a "yes" and a "no" about their acceptance of my doctor into their network. As of this morning, to get a more firm answer, I attempted their call center and web site only to find both down for at least an entire morning. Stay away!!

Deny deny deny....that's all they know how to do and it's miserable when you're trying to take care of a very ill loved one. Customer service reps are not Anthem employees, they're a third party. Good luck trying to get a Anthem employee on the line. Do yourself a favor, dump this insurance if you can. I'd give them ZERO for a rating if I could.

Absolutely disgraceful service. Anthem claims to provide certain benefits with your plan, i.e. gym membership reimbursement, but when you seek your reimbursement they send you through 10 phone calls+ a 6 month ongoing battle to get your reimbursement, which i still have not. I even checked with them and got permission before i sought this gym membership out. I keep getting different answers and the level of incompetence is unlike anything I have ever seen from a professional business. I have also been denied claims for other benefits promised to me, without any kind of explanable answer. Anthem loves fo advertise all these benefits supposedly included in your plan (i.e. 3 free nutritionist visits a year!) but then when you actually go to the nutritionist, its not covered.How can someone pay for a specific service/promise of benefits and be flat out refused what they have paid for? i would not recommend this agency in my wildest dreams.
