I brought my new puppy there that was sick within a day of getting her and they got me right in. The caring staff and vet went above and beyond to try and help Violet out, there was not much that could be done with my puppy as she deteriorated very quick, but I wanted people to know how much the Dr. and his staff tried to save Violet including offering to stay late to hope she perked up with the antibiotics and IV and tell me all the options that could be done and carefully explaining the situation.. If you care for your animal, then you owe it to your special friend to bring them to Central Park Vet. I will be bringing my next puppy to them. I also talked to customers in the parking lot that said they will not go anywhere else. Edited about 2 months after when I got a surprise bill in the mail for over $250 that I did not authorize and had tried to work with them on it, but now the story changes. The stars are for after the fact. Their people were nice, except for this and everytime I attempted to speak to them about it, they continued to switch their story. My feelings are that someone attempted to do a nice thing originally and his boss caught up to the billing after the fact. I certainly did not authorize extra charges they billed me for 2 months later saying that it was standard. I love to know how someone gets billed 2 months after service, with no authorization or signature and apparently this is normal, even though I was up there twice after with a freind.

I can't say enough about this place. They were so good to us and our girl when she got sick. When our cat suddenly stopped eating, we took her in and they not only got her back on her feet, they called us with updates at least once a day. They gave us peace of mind. I was a wreck after a couple of family losses, so the idea of losing our cat was so terrible. They were so kind and warm. Now, I can't promise that every pet will get better like ours did after a week of her being at the clinic, but I can vouch that they will be in great care. These people are sincerely good people. 10/10 would recommend.

Having two dogs and having a good veterinarian that can do surgeries instead of them sending you elsewhere is a big plus then having a great surgeon is also great. I found the prices on different treatments also affordable , these days with everything go up in cost we need better prices on just about everything.

All of my animals have gone or go to Central Park Vet. It is a family owned and run business by Dr. Robbins and his wife. They give great care to your animals and are fairly priced. I wouldn't send my dogs anywhere else.
