21 May 2022 edit. Unfortunately the new purple park is about 1/2 of the original park. Meaning there are about 1/2 the structures for the kids to play on. Sadly the bigger kids scare off the smaller kids because of the single four story “play structure”. There is limited space in the "tower" and often over taken by bigger kids, leaving the smaller kiddos with no where to play. The powers that be, must not have kids bc they also put in a single “rope swing” that takes ups 1/2 the original park with no expansion to the original park despite plentiful open space. 1st world problems right? I hope the city is more thoughtful in future park makeovers. Pictures are of the park they should have built. This one is in Telluride. Thoughtfully designed to capture kids of all ages.

Beautiful quiet park with lots of open grass for pups to run around. Cute creek and ponds around as well. Paths aren’t too far to different parks or even some amenities. Grew up here and glad to see the park hasn’t changed much and is so well kept

Absolutely LOVE this park!! So beautiful! Great area for kids to play, lots of grass areas to picnic, tons of walking with sidewalks winding thru the park, and great for picture taking.

Questions & Answers

Is there a disc golf course within this " beautiful park"?

I am a professional disc golfer who is connected to the local club. The city has let the club put in a temporary course at this amazingly beautiful park for a few special events over the last few years. The city appreciates us and wants to continue to allow us to use this park for these purposes moving forward. As such, they allowed us to put anchors in the ground for pin placements within the past year and a half. Please do not attempt to play this course unless the course is in the ground for an event. Please connect with the local club to help if you want the course to have a chance to be in the ground more often.
