make the minimum wage higher and wonder why you have a "labor shortage" and you wonder why your workers go to MA to go to work.

Hi ..I want to complain to director or commissioner of Department DOLf neglect on call and misconduct without respecting view of other no one if us above law except God phrase of constitution says 'WE ARE PEOPLE' where is this phrase . They disconnect my call before ifinish my call. My case took 4 months for wage claim .DOL Violated NH act law. gvt must change law or change their employees. I read all law , like this case took 5 weeks after employer refused to pay. NH is small state, I imagine with myself how these people resolve issues of citizens if they move to big States like NY Or Texas or California. Idont need any hearing , iam moving to an other state .the employee WIS International who stole my money stole also you gvt taxes state taxes.

I needed help getting a former employer to mark me as terminated so I could roll over my old 401k. I was told to call the NH department of labor. I called the number provided, was transferred to someone who spoke quietly and far too fast. I told them my situation, she paused and said "so what do you want us to do about it?" A little taken back, I said "I was told to call your department for help in this?" and she said "we can't -make- an employer do anything." and then she didn't say anything else. So after a few moments of awkward silence, I hung up. Soooo I guess no, if your old company is dragging their feet on marking you as terminated, you're kinda stuck waiting, the labor board doesn't have time for that, gawd!

call NH Employment Security
She will definitely need to contact DHHS in the Brown building. I have no experience in that but I can only imagine she would have to wait. Sorry that's the state LOL
Good question
It depends on the company. Some do 75% of it and some pay it in full, but yes you should get something
Yes
I did a little research on that... and it is up to employer. 15 is does not have to be given as well. Read company politics.
Yes
call 271-3176 ask for wage & hour division
Contact your employer and let them know it's still missing. They can track the check. If the check hasn't been cashed, you can ask them to place a stop payment, and reissue. If the employer has any questions, or you do, contact the Department of Labor.
