This place is such a gem. Scott has been helping me over the phone with some health concerns I had with my boa and today we (my snake & I) went in to meet him. He has an amazing energy, took to my constrictor right away; such a good heart for these amazing animals, incredibly compassionate & respectful towards them—the kind of personality I look for as a prerequisite before I follow any instruction on care, to make sure I can trust the info. Scott knows a tremendous amount about so many of these beautiful creatures, that I feel I am in very good hands, which makes me feel excited to give my snake optimum health and take his quality of life to several next levels. Scott helped me learn that my snake is emaciated, needs a bigger tank, and would thrive in a bioactive enclosure, which I plan to pursue once we get a minor health issue under control [which he also helped me understand]—he also identified it as a male, and for years now I thought I had a lady snake.... So, yeah: lots of learning took place today, haha! Very grateful for Scott's help and listening to my innumerable questions; he is a wonderful asset to the team, which overall was also very welcoming & warm to me. Greatly appreciate this establishment. 🙇🏽‍♂️💞🐍

Great experience purchasing a snake and the whole setup for my son at Gator City Reptiles! He’d been asking for one for a couple of years, but I was on the fence since I’d never had a snake before. Luckily, Keppler was there to answer all our questions and make me feel comfortable enough to take home a corn snake (Maurice) that day. Keppler was super patient and informative and then got us set up quickly and easily with everything we needed. It’s really nice to know that Gator City will be there when we have any questions or need advice. We are in Ocala but will definitely keep making the trip up there for all of Maurice’s reptilian needs! Thank you, Keppler!!

The girl working here was very knowledgeable about all the reptiles. Gave us good advice on things we were looking for. All of the reptiles here appear to be very well taken care of and cared for. Nice selection of products too.

If there’s anything in this world I love more than animals, it’s the people who properly take care of them and love them endlessly. The staff at Gator City Reptiles proves this time and time again with their knowledge and doting personalities for all of their scale babies.
