Superior service! Brought in a couple of used Catrikes I found for wife and self. Amazing how many assembly mistakes were found and corrected. Even overheard a phone call from a mechanic at another shop admitting they didn’t know how to route wiring while assembling a new etrike and wanting directions! No matter if to get a trike new or used, taking it here for a checkout it a sound investment.

My wife and I are in our mid-70s. We've toured solo all over the world on our bikes. We have at least 40,000 miles under our belts. We were mountain biking at Flying Eagle Preserve and my wife had a slow leak. We drove by this bike shop and said "hey, let's get the flat fixed." We were ignored for five or ten minutes while two guys moved boxes around. Then the man in charge basically blew me off. No that's too kind, he absolutely blew me off. I wasn't asking him to drop everything. I asked him if I could drop the bike off and pick it up tomorrow. Here's the bottom line. I must have been in 100 bike shops. This Dude was rude! The rudest I have ever met. All he had to do do was say, "we don't have a mechanic on duty." So I went to Walmart, bought a spare tube, and fixed it myself. Given the location, and the wealthy vacationers in this area, I'm sure TrailSide is doing very well. Very high end trike and recumbent sales and rentals. But whoever owns this place, I wish him/her ill. This is my first post on Google. I'm not an angry guy. But this place needs an attitude adjustment. Badly.

I know the guy (I assume was the owner) was helping someone already and I was patiently waiting. But when he walked in the door and ignored me like I wasn't there and I said Hi very nicely, he glared at me and kept walking past. The old man that was inside the whole time just stared at me. The guy in the back never looked up from what he was doing. Rude and unprofessional. In looking at other reviews, this isn't uncommon at this shop. I'll go to the new ebike store and order the 2 expensive replacement batteries and give them my money instead.

Andrew was great to work with during and after my purchase. I drove over 3 hours one way to get there and it was well worth the trip. I just love my Ice Adventure trike and so far it has not caused me the medical problems I had with my Trek with a saddle. It was either have the trike work or give up biking. Andrew also has been awesome with help and parts I needed after I rode it about 200 miles. I highly recommend him and his shop for trikes and I recommend trikes. They are fun and comfortable. Inventory constantly changing. Please call the shop 352-419-4809 for current inventory. Thanks for your question.
Didnt see any masked people on the trail or in the two stores we were in.
We only consign recumbent bikes and trikes.
I think they can get any kind Availability is problem right now
Yes, we sell used trikes and they all have more than 3 speeds. Usually cheaper models, which are not worth repairing, only have 3 or less speeds.
They sell bicycles
The big box stores sell bicycles that look shiny and pretty but are not serviceable. So, when something breaks, it will cost more in parts and labor than what you paid, originally. In short, they are disposable! We sell bikes that are made to last; moreover, we are required to sell bikes at MSRP. Lastly, if folks do not support independent bike shops, there will be no more mechanics to fix your bike much less a flat tire. Generally speaking recumbents, the type of bike we specialize in, start at $899. Lastly, we often have consignment recumbent bikes in stock that are available for less.
They used just changed to name last year.
