I love this place I've been going here since I was a child It's one of the few places that you can find pretty green grass that rolls right into the water. Big healthy trees all around nice tables and camping areas & electrical hookups for RVs. I love this place!

We love Willow Grove! It's been our favorite place to camp, we've always had a fantastic time. The area is always clean and people are friendly. We meet and see many folks like us who stay at Willow Grove over and over.

Little more than a mile from I35E and a great stopover if you are a weary highway traveler. Pull through trailer sites, hookups and tent sites make it the perfect place to stop - great birdwatching and right on the lake. Fishing can be good too.

Yes, you would need to purchase a fishing license. You can purchase a one day for $11. The only real exception to a required license is on State Park property, so you can fish for free all year at any state park or free fishing day every year on June 1st.
As of yesterday it was still blocked off.
If your just going for the day it's less than five dollars of you want to camp in a tent near the lake it's around $11 a night
Yes. A short walk to public restrooms 🙂
There are fire pits with grill grates on top that can be moved around. There are picnic tables at each site.
Jeff reffrey is wrong their is wifi u have to sign into it
It costed $5 for entry when I went. That is the daily parking pass for non lake Dallas residents.
No. There are no crocodiles in this lake. Crocs are not here in America... It's alligators... But there are none of those either.
Yes there is Alligators in this lake
At the point of Willow Grove Park near the covered pavilion, facing east towards the Colony.
This is a lake park. There's camp/rv spots, playground, showers, volleyball net & party pavilion No retail shops
I do not know if I can, but they do not charge for entering
If you have an RV site yes there is electricity but if you have a primitive site than no but the rest room has outlets
Yes, but the water is muddy.
Willow Grove is managed by the City of Lake Dallas, they have done a great job at keeping the grounds in excellent condition at all times, they continue to add new features every year including internet, showers and clean restrooms, and water and a/c hookups for RV camping and primitive areas as well. You won't be disappointed!
We were visiting my brother in law's. We decided to drive to the lake. It's a beautiful place to see, my husband plans on taking our grandson fishing there.
