Most every campsite I've seen is shaded. Restrooms are clean. A trail to ride bikes, access to paddle and the beach is beautiful. I plan on coming back.

Grounds were clean--they provide trash cans; bathrooms were mostly clean; 10pm curfew; beware the biting midges(THEY ARE TOO SMALL TO CATCH THEM BITING YOU) and every other bug that is attracted to humans!! apply bug spray as soon as you arrive and after you shower!! Have fun!

This campground in Ft DeSoto County Park is a real gem. The park supports all kinds of activities ... hiking, biking, boating (power boats, canoe, kayak, SUP). A bit of everything. Nice beaches too!

Best campground in all of Pinellas county. We love canning here. Waterfront sites where you can launch your kayaks or paddleboards. Great camp store. Absolutely stunning park overall. There are multiple fishing piers. A ferry out to eggmont key. The fort! Mangrove estuaries to explore.. sugar sand beach... dog beach... Miles of paved trails... We've been coming here for decades and still find new spots every time.

You have to rent a metal washtub style bucket from them in order to have a campfire. They do sell firewood also.

Follow the instructions on this web page https://www.pinellascounty.org/park/camping.htm I think Pinellas County residents can make them 7 months in advance, everyone else 6 months.

We would love to stay for two night November 20th tell the 22nd. Do you have any openings?
