Great Park. Large, scenic, diverse terrain, shade, sun, little lakes and streams, few homeless, special areas set aside for remote control vehicles and aircraft, what more could you ask for. Well, maybe less coyotes and rattlesnakes but other than that it's just about perfect.

One of my favorite places to run, take the dogs, or bike.

A glorious park on any sunny day. Refreshing when it's windy, you can feel the waves of time and history sweeping over the grounds and over your skin. Good place to walk the dog, take a stroll, have a picnic and let the kids run around. I like that the rules are posted so you know what to do and not do, and they are for real on it. Which is good. Keeps it a safer place to enjoy the precious moments of life when you're not waiting tables, cleaning up after roommates, or chasing an impossible sales goal, etc. We need places like Fairview Park.

Went to take pictures during sunset and it didn't disappoint. Although the view isn't the best due to visible power lines and homes along the horizon, it is not a bad place for a quick getaway to see the sunset. It is a busy spot with people walking their dogs, biking or running so don't expect to see much of a wildlife. The park does offer a few small trails that can still be enjoyed for those looking to get outdoors in the middle of a city.

You can get to the river trail near the Hamilton/Victoria bridge at the south end of the park and via footbridge over the side canal near the north end.
There are 4 restrooms in the upper area that leves with the street. They're really close to the parking area. There are 4 more if you go down.
Not sure but all the bands are good

Yes. Need to enter the park at Canyon Street. Park along the residence side. There's also a small school he can park in their lot on the weekends. This will lead you to the RC airplanes and there are some open dirt spots/ tracks to run in RC car.
