After a few friends referral for a new pedestrian when I had my preemie daughter we ended up with Dr Cornett. I love this office staff. I've loved every nurse. We go in, sign in and wait in our car. This makes for a much happier baby and toddler and parents waiting in the car instead of inside a room of sick people when your child is not sick. I appreciate this. We've had a healthy 2 years of seeing Dr Cornett and have never once been upset with the office staff and that to me, is a big deal. Thanks for making it so smooth for us every visit.

So I have been a patient at Watson clinic for about 10 years as well as my son has been a patient in their pediatric as well as I was an employee off and on for 10 years as well. So I have a balance in collections of 776.00 I have now gotten a referral to see an orthopedic for my knee. I have Blue Cross Blue shield ins and called to make a payment and set up monthly payments toward the collection balance so I can schedule an appointment. The appointment approval dept advised I cannot make appointment unless I pay 388.00 toward the balance. I called back to speak with manager to clarify they denied me an appointment even though I have insurance and will make a payment and set up monthly payment plan and we are in a pandemic. She confirmed that is correct thank God above there are other orthopedic in Polk County that take Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. Another unhappy patient gone somewhere else.

Happy with the level of care we receive. Not happy with bringing in a 1.5 year old and 2 month old to check-in for a well visit and being told to go back and wait in the car. Tried to call and check-in but was on hold too long. This needs to change.

Let me start out by saying this place did overall well for my son. Unfortunately what they did not do right involves billing. long story short I have never had a clinic try to get so much money from me before. They overcharged us twice for 2 visits that were so minor and we only needed the doctor to get a prescription. What makes it worse there billing specialist told me after they send me to separate invoices that it was an error and I would be getting over 100 dollar refund. After 1 week no one called me and no refund was given. Then when I called they had no idea what I was talking about. After speaking to the manager they apologies about the specialist and send it was right and she was wrong which then led to no refund. They stated it seemed odd about the double bill and stated it was the doctor who coded it that way. The doctor still hasn’t called me to explain why She charged me extra for the appointments we did. The receptions at the pediatrics was understanding and some of the staff knew it was wrong but they couldn’t do anything. I will stop bringing my son as I don’t need to pay at the clinic and get billed again at my house. For a business it was handled unprofessionally and now I hope others understand when you go just watch out for your doctor and the billing and coding department. This place wants to make money and will do it anyway they can.
