03/23/2021: There is a pretty big parking lot on the side of the canal with some signs. Parking lot that may host less than 10 cars by the road is convenient. On 01/22/2021, I hiked 8.7 miles from Millstone Aqueduct and Footbridge in Princeton to Rocky Hill, and on 03/15/2021 I hiked 9.6 miles from Rocky Hill to Colonial Park in Somerset as parts of my Hiking-thru-D&R-Canal goal.

Amazing place for a walk, run or bike...you can do few miles or hit 50 miles. The trail just doesn't end...

One of the best trails for walk, bike. Lots of beautiful scenery on the way with history tidbits every few miles. You learn a lot about spillways and lock ways etc. Its a great time to spend time with ur friends.. you just walk and walk …

Nice place. Lot of bikes use this trail as well so watch out just felt it was little too narrow at places and stream on one side with woods on the other it seemed little tricky for biking. Trail is pretty much flt and not uneven. Good views. Can go up to 15.7 miles or so.
