I ordered the DIY hurricane screens. The owner and staff were very helpful in getting the correct measurements based on the open communication between the company and I. There was a small hiccup with the hardware shipment, but through very good communication everything was corrected. I would recommend this company based on how they handled a small shipping issue and also based on how well they communicated with me during the process.

WoW - Talk about a great experience from start to finish! Jim, my project manager, did a great job explaining the options for hurricane protection and provided me with several quotes. I asked a bunch of questions, which he answered quickly, completely, and even provided pics of the screws that would be installed on my house. When it came time to install, they called to confirm the time the day before, and arrived bright and early. The install crew leader, Shaun, was great to work with. He walked me through each step of the process, answered my questions, and found a creative solution to address a couple of things that unexpectedly popped up. They cleaned up everything before they left and made sure I had everything I needed and understood how to install them again, just to make sure. I gathered several quotes for this project, and am incredibly pleased with the work West Shore did. I will definitely use them in the future! Thank you!

West Shore Construction installed 5 Progressive Defender Hurricane rated Roll Down Shades in my Lanai. Their team was professional and did a great job on the installation. The quality of the shades were the best. We looked at 3 other companies before selecting West Shore and were very happy with our choice. They also have good customer service and are responsive to calls and e-mails.

We contacted Danita at West Shore to assist with remodeling our guest bathroom. Not only was she super informative, and priced below other quotes we received, but she also actually went with us to the store to help pick our tile and grout and everything else we needed to match our vision that we shared with her. Her team was always punctual and ALWAYS cleaned up after themselves, which is huge for us. And they even finished sooner than originally stated. Hands down best project we have ever done and we will absolutely use them again!

currently right now from the signing of the contract to the installation is around 4 - 6 weeks on average. During hurricane season it could be longer depending on supply and demand, but we do our very best to keep it at 4 - 6 weeks
for the anchors call dropins we use 1/2", for the male panel mates we use 7/32" and the female panel mates we use 1/2". All the holes though are filled with a flat sidewalk bolt so the hole is not open at all. You can even paint the sidewalk bolt to be the color of your home to be virtually invisible
Thank you for your question. We have a couple different options. We have motorized hurricane screens that have a 95% wind and water abatement so you can put them down with a button and still allow your patrons to dine outside. We also offer another motorized commercial screen but it is a clear panel that is storm resistant and does not block the outside view when it is deployed. Both of these options are fully see through. Call the office if you need more information to make an informed decision
Its depends on job size and location. Different municipalities require different things. The best answer I have is to call us and we can come over, do an estimate and we can see from there.
Impact Hurricane Windows Cost – Itemized Window and Installation Costs. The average installed cost of hurricane windows is $62 per square foot, or about $1,085 per window for the most popular size. Hurricane window cost starts at about $325 for small fixed windows and exceeds $2,000 for large windows that open.
Installing hurricane shutters can significantly increase the resale value of your property. Potential buyers recognize the investment and care taken to maintain safety and security.
Your insurance premiums are reduced more by having hurricane impact windows; they are always protecting the home whereas shutters have to be installed or closed by the homeowner. Impact hurricane windows reduce your air conditioning energy consumption; hurricane shutters don't.
If you've established that your home would need protection from high winds and projectiles in the event of a storm, then hurricane shutters are likely worth the time and money to install on your house. ... Plywood will save you money, but if installed incorrectly, it can be torn from the home to become a projectile itself.
tested have proven that Astroguard hurricane fabric can out stand cat 5 winds and rain and out performs metal shutters, other fabrics, and plywood also
It all depends on how much work you want to put into putting them up. If you do not want to ever put up hurricane protection and still want to be protected than, hurricane windows is a great choice. If you are willing to put up light panels when the storm is approaching than Hurricane fabric is a great choice. We have many different options and we would love to talk to you about them
yes hurricane fabric can as long you follow your homeowners insurance guidelines. Hurricane fabric has a NOA # 17661 and it is qualified as a Miami Dade rated material
there are many different factors that determine the cost of a bathroom. I.e. bathtub or shower, tiling, electric, or plumbing...etc. Its best to call the office and have us give you a free consult
