Creamery Covered Bridge - Brattleboro, VT was once known for having the most covered bridges in VT. This is now the last remaining covered bridge and I wanted to see one up close.

Another beautiful Covered Bridge. This is one that you can’t drive over any longer, but can still walk across.

The bridge is well maintained both interior and exterior. It’s for pedestrians only. No car traffic.

Neat little place to stop. There a few shady spots around the parking area to have a little picnic. Very pictureistic!

Hi Laura Jane: I think your best bet is to contact the shoe stores in the area. I have not been to this one - but I have read about it http://www.shepherdsflock.com/ http://www.shepherdsflock.com/Retire.html They just went under new management. It is about 25 minutes north of Brattleboro. We have several shoe stores in town: http://www.shoetreevermont.com/ https://nemtn.com/ https://samsoutfitters.com/ Check with each of them for availability and prices. Also, in Greenfield, Mass is http://qwaruba.com/ I have been there and they are nice. Stay Safe until November!! JilMac
I believe it is maintained by a conservative, you'll need to reach out to them. If i remember correctly there is a plaque mounted in the little park there that has that information.
