Very clean, warm staff, wonderful water views (every room). A mile from downtown that you can easily walk to or use their free shuttle (from 3-10). Best continental breakfast I’ve ever had!! And they offer complimentary bottled water and snacks as well. Highly recommend!!

This hotel was very beautiful and I greatly enjoyed my stay. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the views from the balcony and the back of the property are incredible. The carpet in the rooms is very plush and new feeling and the bedding was extremely soft. It was really nice to sit at the bar and have a drink over looking the water. The free shuttle that is included to take you into downtown Bar Harbor was a really nice bonus to have available. The pool wasn't very well maintained so we skipped trying that out, but otherwise my stay was very enjoyable. The free breakfast was very convenient to have on check out day as well. Pricing was a bit higher than I would have liked to spend for what we got, but overall I would definitely stay here again.

The Bayview Hotel is just beautiful with exceptional customer service. The hotel is about a twenty minute walk from town or a five minute car ride away. Our room was on the first floor with an amazing view of the harbor. My husband and I watched the sunrise right from the balcony after it was suggested from the staff, and what a great suggestion it was. I hope to come back again one day. It's a perfect hotel if you're looking to be somewhere quiet, away from town, with beautiful views.

Notification of cancellation or arrival date or departure date change must be received more than 10 days prior to the confirmed reservation dates. After a deposit has been charged, any cancellations made up to 10 days prior to arrival will be refunded less a $35.00 processing fee per reserved room. Cancellations must be made by telephone. Guests canceling reservations within 10 days of arrival or before scheduled departure, forfeit their deposit and will be charged for the full reservation unless we are able to re-book the vacated rooms. Trip cancellation insurance is recommended if you have concerns about your travel plans.
My family group (of 10) stayed in the townhouses, which was great. A couple different room options, and we had 6 in one townhouse (3 bedroom) and 4 in another (2 bedroom + pull out couch). I don't know if the regular rooms accommodate 5 or not. Short walk to the lobby for breakfast (free & pretty good). Townhouses have a full kitchen. We stopped at the grocery and purchased lunch and snack items for being out all day, but usually ate dinner in town. The free shuttles around the island only run part of the year but are wonderful! The nearest stop is only a 5 min walk from the hotel.
