Do not play. Especially if your looking for green fairways. Every fairway is entirely burned out. Nothing worse then hitting a drive down the middle that rolled into the woods because the fairway was burned out. Sure, the greens are in decent (inconsistent speed) shape and the staff is fair, so that’s two stars. But save yourself the time and $65 and don’t play here.

First time leaving an online review for golf or anything otherwise. Not trying to rag on working peoples businesses. I’m a pretty relaxed guy, take things as they come and for what it’s worth, but this course is trash. Played here Monday holiday. Bunch old dudes running around like chickens with their heads cut off. People without tee times cutting in while people with tee times stood around waiting for carts. Told people tee off from whatever course they wanted no real organization. When we asked the guy whether we’d get 18 in .. teeing off at 3pm he laughed and said no because it closes at 8p… Basically spent the day trying to discern which ball was ours because a ton of holes share fairways. I mean straight up not side by side fairways … sharing fairways coming back onto each other in different directions. The layout is ridiculous. It got to the point where we stopped caring as balls landed near us, whatever happens it’s been an hour and we’ve played 3 holes sitting here waiting for two groups to tee off on 4. Get it’s a cheap municipal but this is absurd. I’d imagine on a weekday it would be fun, it’s open, greens are in decent shape. But you couldn’t pay me to play here on a weekend again.

I have never had a more exhilarating golf experience in my life. My family played a round to commemorate the life of our pet iguana, Mendruckle. I shot 137 on the front nine, which speaks to the difficulty of the course, but enjoyed every minute of it. My mother accidentally endangered a goose in a fit of rage with her 9 iron. But, that only represents the life-filled environment that Heather Hills brings. I can now die happy.

One of the best courses I've played on in my life, despite the rough edges. Great atmosphere to swing out of the shoes and let them fly. While I normally find myself buried between two mommy geese and a couple pines and my ball covered in dirt, THE HOME OF GOLF prepares me to escape the entropy of the beautiful game.
