I have Unitil for my electricity and they're great. The online payments and emails means no fussy robot calls or paperwork to deal with and I get text messages during storms to let me know if there is a power outage in my area and when I should expect my power back if I lost it. Wicked easy company to deal with. I've never had a problem with them in the years that I have been a customer.

Awful company that should never be in public utility business. Every day is like the first day in business. No plan no preparation no information sharing. Customers are irrelevant. They do what they want when they are good and ready at their own pace. Money money money and nothing else matters to these guys. Public utilities commission must take these clowns to task.

This place needs you to have a account number to report an outage. They need to be available whether you have an account or not.

Tenant had the service shut off and no one informed me. New tenant moves in and no power. Unitil says they can't have anyone come out for another 5 days because of the holiday. Are you kidding me? What is this, India??

Well do your lights turn on when you flip the switch? If the answer is no then you probably have a power outage.
