Cambridge's best public park. Divided into several different areas, the park has three different parking areas, many different types of athletic fields, picnic tables, a scenic hill, a running track, and nicely maintained grounds. The soccer field by the track is "field turf" artificial grass with great drainage so it doesn't feel wet even if it rained earlier in the day. The only drawback is that the "restrooms" are just porta-potties. Maybe in a future round of participatory budgeting someone will propose an upgrade to the plumbing. An easy walk to/from Whole Foods.

This was a real nice and clean playground. Our kids had a blast playing there. I wish we were living closer and could enjoy it more

Danehy park is a neighborhood gem. 50 acres wide, it serves many different purposes. It is a popular spot for soccer, baseball, track and field. It also hosts a fairly large dog park, 2 playgrounds (+2 more in close proximity), a splash pad, making it a great spot for families. You'll find many other amenities, including grills, tables, 3 large parking lots (2 include EV chargers). In the winter, it's a very popular sledding spot for kids, teenagers and parents.

Beautiful park! Lots of picnic tables and grassy areas. I had a grad party gathering at one of the tables and it was perfect. There’s multiple bathroom locations, trash cans, and parking lots.
