Needed to print some documents. Was helped by a very kind woman. Great service! Very cool stone floor and statue (?).

Small and welcome space with a very lovely librarian that welcomed me.

The architecture is beautiful, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Definitely one of Boston's hidden gems

Very convenient, accessible, and with enough essentials for a quiet working setting. It has plenty of tables and chairs, Internet is free (although it could be faster), and there are lots of cafes and restaurants in the area ideal when taking a break.

Hi, Julie. If you are interested in a title that isn't at your preferred branch, you can place a hold for it at www.bpl.org. Select the North End branch as the hold pickup location and the first available copy will be sent here for you to check out. We'll email you when it's ready, but you can always check its progress in your account at bpl.org.
Why, yes! There is a scale model of the Palazzo Ducale in Venice constructed by Henrietta Macy and Louise Stimson as well as a white marble bas-relief of Dante Alighieri, donated in 1913. You can find a photo of the Palazzo Ducale model on the Friends of the North End Branch website: http://friendsnorthendlibrary.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_6.html
