I'd like to express appreciation for Sensible Shoe for staying around while so many other retailers have closed over the past several years. It's so nice to have a great place to buy shoes without having to drive an hour away. The staff there has always been great! Yesterday, I went in to buy a pair of hiking shoes that I need for a trip. The salesperson was very attentive and helpful. I wasn't even in the store for 30 seconds before he was offering his help. Shopping is just not my favorite thing. I consider it a necessary chore. The salesperson, however, was so friendly and knowledgeable that it was a very pleasant experience. He found me exactly what I needed and I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. He even informed me of a discount I had coming to me and saved me a good chunk of change. If I had caught his name, I would certainly give him a shout-out here. Thanks again!

Was coming through town as an AT they hiker. Had no way of getting to the store to replace my 700 mile Altras. Called and they had the exact size and even color I wanted. The owner himself drove them to me, in town, after closing. Really cool guy and saved me a bunch of hassle.

Geeat selection, from hiking boots to casual shoes to sandals to Birkenstocks. Knowledgeable staff, though I think my wife and I tested the patience of the clerk after taking about an hour of helping us find just the right fit. And we did eventually find a pair of Oboz for me at $160 and Xeros for my wife at $90. No sales tax on clothing BTW, and that includes shoes.
