What a hike!!! Take the beach and head towards the Betsy Ross Bridge then curve around towards the Pennsauken Creek. Keeping the old flea market/drive in on your right. Trek through some brush on your left to find cleared paths and then follow the Perimeter Trail back to the parking lot at Palmyra Cove. Took about 2:15 with stops along the way.

This is a beautiful place for a walk or run. Lots of trails throughout the property. You'll even run into some wildlife! I see deer and turkeys every time I visit. The beach however is awful. I've never seen so much trash and litter. It must wash up from the river. It is horribly unsightly. The boardwalk is dangerous. There are boards missing and covered by vegetation. This park could be amazing if the land was better maintained.

I love this place. Simple as that. Make sure you go when the tide is low enough to walk on the beach. It's beautiful, quiet, and great for kids of all ages.

So peaceful. Just a short turn before the Tacomy/Palmyra Bridge and you have a great place to learn and explore. Visiting center is limited due to Covid. Very clean! Staff is friendly and informative. Bathrooms are available and clean. It was nice just to watch the butterfly in the flowers outside.

It closes at sunset. There are gates that will be closed
Yes
As a bird sanctuary and STEM center, the Palmyra Cove does not allow dogs. Please see the park rules. Thank you.
The flea market has closed for good and there is now a sign thanking patrons for their years of patronage.
Yes.
Not supposed to cook or have any open flame cookouts or BBQs. Police do patrols. Food can be brought thats ready to eat and Trash bins are placed all over.
You can drive to the visitor center. I don't think you drive on the trail itself. Besides, it's gravel & dirt. Any bad weather, and you'd be stuck.
I don't think there's a pavilion, but there are shaded picnic tables. Not a ton but also plenty of places to throw down a picnic blanket.
Might be closed call if you can even go there because its attached to tacony flea Mkt..
No, the park is closed at night and the gates are locked.
They say sundown. I'm not sure if there is a specific time that they close the gate. I believe the nature center closes at 4:30PM.
If you can drive on the soil, or have someone drive you through the park
It's very relaxing!!! One of the problems goes away ... at least for a while.
