Let me first start by sharing I am not a “google reviewer”. This is my first time ever writing a review but I feel compelled to share my experience as a warning to those considering using Fagan. I ordered a garage door part that was originally installed by Fagan at the very beginning of March. I was told the part would be into the facility 4/18. Due to scheduling issues, they were unable to come out until 5/18. When the arrived ON SITE at my home, they realized that they couldn’t install it and complete the job because the part they ordered was incorrect (there was no prior quality control at their warehouse to ensure the installation could be complete). I was told the part wouldn’t be available until July. A few days later I received a call saying the part was in and they would Come to install it that day and finish the job. I was surprised, but pleasantly so, until the window for the job completion passed and no one showed up. I called and they stated that they had gotten my phone number confused with another client that they were in fact, scheduled to install that day. More wasted time on my end waiting for them that day… Fast forward to last week (as in the second week of August) where they have said the correct part is in and they are coming to install it. Again I re work my schedule to be available And at home for the install. And AGAIN, they arrive to my home and have ordered the wrong part for the garage so cannot install. Again with no prior quality control at their warehouse to ensure correct part ordered before scheduling me to be free to come out for the install. It is now 3 business days out from the second failed install of the part ordered in March and I have sent an email to the owner but have not heard back from her or the the offices.

Fagan Door was excellent. They replaced two old garage doors at our place on Block Island RI a couple days ago. The two person crew rolled up our drive on time (maybe 5 minutes early) and went to work right away. They were done in about three hours. The guys were super and our new doors look great - easy to use too.. They hauled away the old rails and doors. I’m a teacher and Fagan earned an A+ from me.

As I discussed the design and construction of my new garage with my contractor, I told him I was interested in installing custom overhead garage doors. He responded with only three words, “Call Fagan Door.” I'm so glad I did. I visited Fagan Door's showroom in Coventry, RI and met with Diane. I told her what I was interested in and that I wanted garage doors to match the doors on another out-building on the property. I provided her with a detailed list of requirements including materials, dimensions, finish, and a photograph of the doors I wanted to match. I'm pleased to say they nailed it. A perfect 10! I also went with Diane's recommendation for side-mounted door operators and I'm extremely pleased I did. The installation is clean and neat and the door operators are very quiet. I recommend Fagan Door without hesitation. Update: My neighbor asked me if I could recommend someone to look at a problem she was having with her garage door. I told her to call Fagan Door. She sent the following email message to me. "Just wanted to thank you for the referral to Fagan Door. I called them today and the guy actually was in the area so came within a couple of hours and replaced the battery but did so much more – explained why the garage door was occasionally not working right (sensors not aligned and/or dirty) and put new light bulbs in the second unit. Plus he oiled all the hinges and tracks. Everything's working swimmingly now, and well worth the money. One more thing off the list!!"
