I brought my Xbox in on May 13th and was told it would take 7-10 days to get the parts and fix the broken port. Those 7-10 days turned into weeks with absolutely no communication. After 3 weeks, I call and ask what’s going on. They tell me the first port change didn’t work and they’re trying it again. Okay, cool, then call me and tell me that. Now it is over a month since I got my Xbox and I’m told I can pick it up Saturday and they close at 7. I pull up to the store and they’re closed and the sign says “Saturday: 10-5”. So now I have to wait until Monday to get the device. They open at 10, I get there and they are closed once again. I go to their cafe next door and am told they open at 11 now. It took me six trips to and from computer works to finally get my Xbox. I do not recommend this company for anyone. Do not waste your time and just take your electronics to Northampton. Edit: I was told you purposely order 2 ports because sometimes the first one doesn’t work, not that you had to order and get shipped another port. I was also the person who called when my console was taking longer than expected, where then you called me back and told me about the port. I arrived at your establishment at 5:15 on Saturday after being told you close at 7. There were no signs saying you’d be back. There was just a closed sign with a clock depicting 10am is when you’d be back. The sign next to the door that said the hours clearly showed “Saturday: 10-5”. When I came in this morning, the person next door said computer works now opens at 11 because of short staff, not just today because of a delay. You never initiated the phone calls and never updated me. A phone call goes a long way.

I am very tech savvy ! So when the gentleman behind the counter solved my big problem (to me) with a simple click i was amazed . He was helpful and explained what happened and how to correct the problem if it should happen again . I was very pleased. Thanks again computer works.

I was trying to replace my laptop battery and one of the screws was completely stuck. I brought it to staples and they stripped the screw then said it was stuck too hard and they couldn't help me. this was the only place i could find on google still open in the evening so i came in and the man behind the counter had it out in 15 seconds and didn't charge me. great place.

I ended up needing a new mother board this past Saturday after a failed attempt at putting in my new i7-7900k. These guys dealt with me impatient attitude very professionally. I paid for the rush service and recommend the same. They would have had it fixed that day if it wasn't for the part needing to be shipped in. I had my computer on my desk up and running at 4pm Monday. Two day service is unheard of in this industry! So yes give these guys a visit. The price is also reasonable and negotiable within reason. Don't be a jerk and they will treat you extremely well.

Questions & Answers

My xbox one recently broke and ive been looking to repair it but im wondering how much it would cost. For refrence it will not turn on or use the disk drive but the front ribbon cable is not responsible so im guessing its something more expensive.

Hi, We would have to take a look at it and see what the exact issue is to be able to give you a quote for repair. The diagnosic would be $40.00 to figure it out and that can be applied later to the work should you choose to have it repaired with us. Please let us know if you should have any further questions. Thank you and have a great day!

I bet they could help you

I have a Credo / Sprint phone that seems to have died and isn't recharging. Just a slight red strip that hasn't moved in hours. Would you be able to look at it? Also, we're moving to Ashfield ... do you know if I will get service there?

Computer works will be able to fix it and not too sure if it would work in Ashfield
