I dine here often and the food never disappoints - absolutely delicious! We had a private party here for my mom’s 60th birthday and it was beautiful! We had a curated menu including dishes my mom loves and everything was excellent. Outstanding service - everyone is so helpful and accommodating and we never had to wait for anything. If you ever have a chance go and try the chefs tasting menu you must try - you will be hooked!!

Ciro did not disappoint for Valentine’s Day. The meal got better with each course. Not our first visit and will certainly not be our last. We started off with a delicious mushroom consume. I could have had an entire bowl. Next came seared scallops with asparagus, so good. Then a Bronzino with oranges and almonds. Such a unique combination. The pumpkin ravioli had sage and cherries (could have had an entire plate just of them). Next was my favorite, the confit duck with lentils. Crispy and still succulent. The pork 2 ways was my husband’s favorite - crispy braised bacon and a kobe pork chop. The bacon had a great spiced bourbon glaze and the chop had a delicious polenta alongside. As if there wasn’t enough incredible courses, round out with wagyu beef topped with foie gras. Dessert was arguably one of the best carrot cakes I have ever had and a decadent chocolate tart. Wine was expertly paired with each course.

Ciro Food and Drink offers the small city of Wilmington a culinary experience one would normally expect to find in major metropolitan areas like New York or Philadelphia. The menu provides a wide range of upscale dishes ranging from perfectly cooked Wagyu beef, delectable pan seared scallops, pumpkin ravioli, and their irresistible forest mushroom consume. Where Ciro truly shines, however, is their chef tasting menus which allows patrons to sample up to 7 different courses prepared specially by the chef; each paired perfectly with its own glass of wine. In over two dozen times visiting Ciro, my wife and I have never walked away from a chef tasting experience hungry, unsatisfied, or without sampling something new. Beyond its amazing food, the owner and staff of Ciro make every customer feel welcome and part of the Ciro family; making for many, the restaurant a home away from home. Ciro is a must stop for any local Wilmington foodie or visiting person stopping through!

Very disappointing. Went on Valentine's Day and the Vday special was terrible. I'm not sure what people like about this place to be honest. It's tiny, cramped and the restroom dirty. Half of the narrow place appears to be a takeout bar? Unable to eat or enjoy most courses. Chewing the meat was like a tasteless cardio workout. Fed expensive meat to my dog. Not what I was expecting for that price at all. Save your time, money, and expectations and go somewhere nice.

The one at the riverfront is a bit lax on COVID-19 safety practices. I went in and was the only one wearing a mask.
We can certainly accommodate gluten free needs based on our existing menus. When making your OpenTable reservations, please notate your specific needs and advise the host on arrival. - Venu, co-owner
