Wow ! What a great place and a great bunch of people including their large staff of dedicated volunteers. The eight acre farm houses a variety of animals from chickens to pigs to lamas and a miniature donkey. They accomplish all that they do through the generosity of donors and grants. The grounds and buildings are well kept and clean. I can't say enough about their mission and caring dedication to animals in need of rescue due to injuries, mistreatment or accidents of birth.

Absolutely wonderful day at the Sanctuary! The executive director gave us a personal tour of the grounds, including some heartwarming and some unfortunately heartbreaking stories of the kind of work they routinely do on behalf of the animals. I'm not a softy, but you could simply see the degree to which the animals appreciated having their lives given back to them: healthy, safe, and cared for. The whole staff was so deeply caring and so lovingly involved in their work -- an inspirational day, for sure! (Just keep an eye on Dudley the alpaca...he's a spitter! Hah!)

I love what Wendy is doing with this place. The tour guides our group had were amazing, very knowledgeable and helpful. The gift shop is small, but had such unique things. I would recommend this place because of the passion everyone there seem to have for these animals. It's simply inspiring.
