Our favorite place to eat when in RI. The lobster BLT is our go to meal. We add on an order of onion rings...yummy! But the scallop appetizer is the bomb....ask for the homemade horseradish sauce to use for dip. Tasty Shady Lady & Blueberry lemonade adult beverages. Scenic views right on the water.... A must visit and enjoy. We love to get take out and dine in.

Someone on Trip Advisor asked where to eat in Newport. Someone answered-- nowhere. Go to Evelyn's. We did that!! We arrived and were intimidated because there were a ton of cars in the lot and along the road. We decided to go anyway. There was no wait, plenty of seating, and pretty quick service. The fish wrap was large and could feed two! Crabcake sandwich was delicious. There's only one bathroom, but also a Porta potty outside. We really enjoyed the view!

This place is absolutely incredible. Over sized portions without over sized prices. The waiter and waitresses were very friendly and professional. Very clean place. I do Not have anything bad to say about this place. A must go to. Absolutely 💯

Evelyn's was busy, as it usually is in the Summer months! Parking can be challenging as they have a small lot, we ended up parking on the street. They are located on a very busy road, so caution is needed when crossing the street! Service was good (we did ordering and pickup at the outside windows, they so have an inside/outdoor dining room as well). Many of their items on the menu are market price. I ordered a clam strip roll (pictured) which came with fries and tartar sauce. You can ask for side condiments like ketchup, salt, pepper, etc. Not pictured were New England clam chowder, fried scallops and a caesar salad with grilled scallops. Food was hot, plentiful and delicious! They are located right on the water in Tiverton, with outside covered dining at picnic tables and regular tables as well. Overall, a good dining experience!
