Campsite 32 was awesome. This was the view and not to far from a restroom or to put in your kayak etc. Came with Bear box and firepit with picnic table. We camped in our van but there was a tent spot. We highly recommend any site that is 32 or higher here. We also stayed in spot #2 which was okay but you just didn't have this view or as much shade. Lower numbers than 32 are not quite as awesome. I'm pretty sure #34 was a double site and it probably had the very best view.

Campground is nice. Lots of trees and shade. Boat dock and playground. Excellent lake to kayak on. Saw an eagle snatch a fish out of the lake not 30 feet in front of us. Then paddled over to watch it eat the fish from the treetop!♡♡ Eat a real meal just down the mountain at Rustic / Glen Echo Resort. Lots of dogs so don't bring yours if he's not friendly. Nice people. Saw some deer not 20 feet from our campsite in the trees. Fire went through here in 2019. Didn't hurt the Campground but slopes along lake still show the burnt trees. Perfect Colorado experience.

Nice huge campground on the lake. Short drive to State Forest State Park. Walk-in Site 50 had great views but gets more wind from that elevated position. The site is uphill from the dedicated parking space. You’ll get a good workout if you have a lot of stuff. Our dome tent was fine but chose not to deploy the canopy. Campground has a decent wooden playground for the kiddos. Water was low when we went in early August but we still enjoyed our time.

It’s a very nice Campground. We camped in a tent only area, no.51, on top of the hill overlooking the lake. It was peaceful with great views. Just beware you can’t park near the site and must haul your stuff up the hill.

I visited the day use area 8/7/20 & they were all taken by 1:00 when we got there. Not sure if that helps.
Not right in the camp ground
I was able to walk into the camp ground, to do some fishing off the lake shore. Campground is closed for the season.
They didn't have any fire restrictions when I was up there.last month
Only if you enjoy really cold water! It does not warm much at this altitude. Wear a wet suit!
There are 2 day use areas at Chambers. $7.00 per vehicle per day. You can use either of those. Or, you can take road 103 Laramie River road & park back at the end of the lake for water access. No facilities there though
The lakes are all full, they are catching 16 ' browns , the rivers are Carrying plenty of water, lots of rafters, the nights are fresh , 55 '
Less than 20 bucks. Pretty sure it was 18. Beautiful area. Only spent one night there. Try to stay by the lake.
There is no WiFi. The symbol is for the amphitheater.
No! It's very green there. Firewood is for sale with the camp host.
