The N. Dartmouth location was one of my favorites until they moved across the street to the mall where FYE was. Since then the prices on CDs and vinyl have been jacked up high and the music selection isn't a quarter of what it was 10 years ago. It's better than nothing and I will make note of the friendly service I've experienced during multiple trips , but this location was easily 5 stars when it was outside of the mall. It used to have a lot of cool local merch and hard to find albums and some underground stuff but now it's very much a mass appeal pop culture mall store, devoid of all the localized culture it once had where you're more likely to find a LeBron James Funk Pop than a CD by a local Boston band. I mean they even had more out of market sports Funko Pops than Boston ones and this store i was very much one that celebrated Boston culture and pride. Again, the employees have always been great. I just think moving into the mall has ruined this location a bit on multiple levels. It's really not much different than FYE was. Not bad, but I think anyone who went to the old location would agree it was significantly better.

I just want to give a shout-out to two employees of this store, Danielle and Emily. They went above and beyond to help me out with a situation that another store created. I can’t thank them enough and needless to say the other store will never receive my business again. You guys rock!

Really awesome store! For starters the staff is always friendly whenever I go there, and the atmosphere in general is great. They have a large variety of comic books, music, movies, games, and toys.
