Shawn was very helpful today when we went in to enquire about upgrading to new cameras. We hit the jackpot finding 2 cameras we wanted in stock. It's been difficult to find any in stock since covid. We each bought one of 2 different models, the only ones they had in stock. Shawn was great without pushing sales, but we already knew what we wanted too. We are happy with our new cameras and our service.

They sure do take their sweet time developing film which is understandable because it has to be sent to other labs and such, however… there other other developers in the area who get it to you much faster and more conveniently. (Their Dropbox system thru email is very dated) I do appreciate what they’ve done for me in terms of helping with equipment and set up direction. And I am grateful for the photos I have received buttt I’m constantly left with regret from going back to them and paying for their services! Their team is helpful and generous but it’s frustrating when they are constantly getting you to buy film/use their film services when they just don’t do a great job at developing in a timely manner. Also- apparently I had a messed up “blank” roll of film… could’ve been my fault but who knows, they didn’t send me an email or let me know so I ended up calling and they told me then but it was very disappointing and I wish they let me know sooner. In conclusion I have been disappointed more often than pleased with my experience here. :( Also keep in mind I’ve never once in my life had the urge to write a review until now so this is coming from the heart haha.

The service here is excellent. I dealt with the same employee both times I visited, and both times he was incredibly helpful, polite, and informative. I will say that I wish that they carried more analogue film products, but I would highly recommend this store if you're looking to purchase a digital camera or equipment like camera bags, straps, photo storage books/albums, lenses, filters, etc.

I highly recommend Green Mountain Camera for their wealth of experience and excellent service! I reached out to them for help in pricing and selling an antique lens that was part of an estate. Bob provided a quick response, with everything I needed to know and more. He even offered to purchase the lens and pay for shipping if my local buyer fell through. A wonderful experience during these difficult times...

We recommend Video Syncracies out of South Burlington. You can find out more information from their website, here: https://www.vidsync.com/.
Yes. Staff will help. Call first.
Yes, we do! They are $8.49 each. At this moment, we have 2 in stock.
We do! The easiest way to get started is by filling out our dedicated form here: https://www.gmcamera.com/sell-your-gear/. If you are local, another option would be to drop off your gear for us to evaluate.
Hi Debra! GMC carries most of the Canon camera line in house and anyone in the store can help you select the best camera for you! Please stop in!
Absolutely. From minor retouching (like dust removal) to complex restorations (like fire or water damage), we can handle any restoration project. We can also perform photo manipulations, like adding or removing a person from a photo (perhaps a relative was unable to make it to the family reunion). We start by having you bring in the photo for restoration. We then make a scan of the image so we can analyze it to get a sense of the scope of the project. We then provide you with a quote for the restoration. If you are happy with the fee, we proceed with the restoration. Most restorations fall between $20-$60, but minor retouching may be less, and really complex restorations (like artistically having to rebuild elements of a photo because those elements are completely lost) may be significantly more.
We do not stock, but are able to order Marshall products. Please stop in or contact us to find out more information about pricing and ordering.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer repairs in-house at this time. Due to our relationships with our vendors, we can arrange for repairs with the original equipment manufacturers for gear purchased from us. This allows our customers to simply drop off their gear when there is an issue, and we handle the rest. However, we do not have an avenue for handling repairs outside of this scope. Please feel free to give us a call and we may be able to help you out further with some recommendations.
