Stop Domestic violence in MA

Horrible experience with the DV advocate . She looked to be about 12 with her little notebook and little face twisted in judgement. After going to the court house to get a RO after being assaulted in middle of the night by my ex. (We hadn’t been together for we over a year) she was asking questions and I answered everything to best of my ability. After I received the temporary one she informed me Oh ya I am going to file something with DCF . I was so angry I told her do what she had to do but considering how long we hadn’t been together and the fact that I was asleep when he broke my window and came into My home with our toddler asleep in her room. But this little girl was doing what she was TAUGHT. Where is the trauma informed care? What’s going on with victimization? This court house wasn’t impressive from the advocate to the clerk and the judge . All women …. All made me feel like this was my fault and I asked to be stalked and have my teeth punched out . Services in domestic violence field are horrific . Women and children are not protected not by this court anyways .

My experience has been awful. The clerk Jeanne J. Is probably the most arrogant clerk I’ve ever spoken to in my life. It is very disturbing that people can be so hostile during this time especially considering you’ve waited months for something to be done! (Yet, they’re frustrated when you mess up once). It is ridiculous and if it was not for the fact that I have to live in this county, I would NEVER EVER use this court again for anything.

Everyone is incredibly rude, watched the District Attorney's office move to dismiss a case and the judge said no. Pretty crazy, the Commonwealth didn't want to prosecute but the judge was on a power trip.
