I was in the store on the morning of 7/7/22, looking for a table. I found one that was OK. Not great, overpriced ($65), but would serve my purposes. My problem was I wasn't sure it would fit in my small SUV. I spoke with the manager, Diane, and told her I thought I wanted the table but was not sure it would fit in my car. Asked if I could try it before buying. She said no. Her solution was to remove the legs. This was a cheap table and a bit wobbly anyway. My concern was that removing the legs and then re-assembling them would further destabilize the table. I said can I please just see if it fits before purchasing. She said NO. I finally decided (against my better judgment) to purchase and then hope it would fit. Well, of course it didn't. The young men helping me were great. We tried a couple of options. I said I wouldn't be taking it as I had no other way to get it home. One of the young men repeated they could take the legs off. I said no. I asked about a refund. One of the young men said they don't do refunds. I went back inside to discuss a refund. Spoke with Diane again. She was adamant. NO refund. I said I hadn't even removed it from the property. She said she didn't know how to do a refund. They just don't do them. I was shocked at being treated so poorly. She finally conceded to a store credit. I can't even imagine ever spending $65 in that store but that seemed to be the only alternative. I know they don't force people, trying on clothes, to pay for them before trying them on. I don't know how this was any different. I should have just walked out and never (over) paid for the table to begin with. Live and learn.

Used to love this Thrift store, but recently prices have increased unreasonably, ex cept for the sale clothes. Furniture way over priced for obviously used items, many in only fair condition, not even very clean. Glassware and dishes are the most surprising! Erratic pricing, random tea cups and saucers up to $14?! Small glass bowls in a set of 6 were $5 each?! Nope. You can keep this stuff. Thrift stores are chock full of dishes and glassware as younger generations are largely uninterested. Too bad unrealistic prices mean lots of your inventory will end up tossed. I'd think a church run store would be more about helping people than being greedy. JMO.

This thrift shop is clean, organized and mostly ran by volunteers. The profits go to help the community so be nice and put stuff back where it goes and if a piece of clothing falls off the hanger hang it back up. I have purchased some very nice things from this shop it’s my favorite shop in the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you try it out.
