I called to get a price on 75 5/4x6x16 foot pressure treated boards for a deck. Michael quoted me $23 and charge (I can’t remember the exact cents) each. He stated there were only about 50 in stock and he would have to call the supplier to see if the price would be the same for the next shipment. He called me back a while later and stated the price was the same. I asked him how the quality compares to what lowes listed as premium. He told me it was better quality. I made the purchase and paid in full. He then calls back a bit later to say that his supplier will not honor the same price and it would cost me an additional $250. I did cancel the order. He then mentioned that his supplier is the same place that supplies lowes and Home Depot. This makes no sense - he said he called the supplier prior to calling me back the first time. Also, is your quality better than lowes or does it come from the same supplier? I tried to stay local but something’s fishy. This is a reply to the comment from Valente’s below. You gave me a price, you collected my money, you sold me a product. You then called to say it was more expensive. That’s a classic bait and switch if you ask me. Then you word your response to blame me for not pressing you harder to stick to the price? You should have honored the sale you made with me- it should have been a non-issue. You can’t argue that what you did wasn’t wrong. It sure was As I said - something’s fishy

Picked up a bunch of rough cut hemlock for raised beds and other outdoor projects. The boards from Lowes or Home Depot are like a toothpicks compared to this. Wish I had come out here sooner. Staff was very helpful with loading and even backing up my rented trailer for me since I had clearly not done that in years. Price was very reasonable especially considering the state of the world right now. It is a drive in style lumber yard so be wary of mud and holes and such. Amazing place though.

Went to Valente’s to purchase tiger stripe maple for a cabinet project and came away pleased with the selection and price. While there, also purchased about 200 BF of regular maple and poplar. Staff was exemplary in all areas that matter. Four stars because did not have wood as R/S which I prefer to planed.

Best lumber mill and store ive ever done business with. The knowledgeable staff and and customer service is like none other. The quality of the materials are top notch and the custom cuts are right on. Our family even purchases our firewood and landscape mulch every season. Its all wonderful.
