She says, "Florida Cancer specialist staff including Aida and Morgan- Altamonte Springs- and all the nurses and doctor Roy Ambinder MD were the greatest!, especially Elizabeth Lopez. Elizabeth Lopez is a passionate nurse who cares tremendously about her patient's health and well-being. She found creative solutions to problems that are life and death situations for the patients. She is thoughtful and courteous and very professional. We really appreciate her care and going the extra mile to ensure everything is okay. She always went above and beyond for me. I am grateful and appreciate of everyone here who loves helping their patients have the best care possible. "

In my opinion, Unfortunately, I give Florida Cancer Specialist, Dr Desai, her PA Liz and her phone staff a big 1. I have been fighting cancer since August and have had multiple surgeries. This is by far the worst facility I have experienced ... Florida Cancer Specialist in Stuart just gets you in and gets you out, they make you feel like they really don't care about you...Calling to tell them about side effects or to make or change an appointment is miserable...most of the time you have to leave a message but when you actually get someone to talk to they are super rude. There were a few things along the way that didn't seem right but my main complaint ended up with me needing a blood transfusion that could have been prevented if Dr Desai was actually looking at my test results instead of just collecting my money. That mistake made a lot of money for them and cost me extra medical bills...over $2000 plus the pain and suffering of needing the transfusion and all the extra blood work and doctor visits I had to do. Also, the loss wages and strain at my employment. The other items of poor care include giving me too high a dose of medication causing side effects for 2 months, not taking the proper precautions for neuropathy, and not transferring my records to another physician when requested multiple times causing a delay in my care for months. So to sum up...Dr Desai, you and some of your staff have done a horrible job taking care of me throughout my cancer treatment.... Cancer is hard enough to deal with without having your Doctor and Cancer Center fail you. So for this review, if you are considering Dr Desai or the Florida Cancer Specialist I would recommend you choose another place...You deserve to be treated better than here and there are a lot of other places that treat you with respect and care. PS I also did not have the opportunity to ring the bell after I completed my chemo...I heard that is very satisfying as a patient but Florida Cancer Specialist doesn't care about that!

The ladies in the front that handle the check in process are always professional and timely. The back office has been wonderful about processing insurance and getting everything handled in a timely manner. The ladies in the back handling all of the treatments are FANTASTIC. Yes sometime there is a wait, but there is a wait with everything in life. We have to understand that medication takes time to get and mix and the ladies in the back work there behinds off taking care of everyone. I appreciate you all very much!

Thus far my experience has been nothing short of amazing. I've been receiving treatment from them for the last few months now and I can definitely say the staff is compassionate and caring and very attentive. Front desk staff has been friendly. I've had no issue with wait time. Appointments are set to what's convenient to me. I would definitely recommend this place for treatment.
