Dated but nostalgic old resort on a beautiful lake. Carpeting on walls of main hall hail to the 70s or 80s. Rooster and Roadhouse Horns Band were excellent.

This resort is definitely one of a kind! They are currently celebrating 150 years of being in business. There is so much history that really made me feel like I was time traveling. The place is enormous and rich in beauty, and their service is beyond warming. I have never been in a lake so clean and pure. I strongly recommend going for a couple of days to get away from the city.

We visited the resort while traveling through the area. We did not stay, so I do not know about the amenities in the rooms. I do know that all of my relatives who stayed there Raved about it!
