Butterfields is a gem that’s not so hidden! From their tasty menu that provides anything your palate desires to buttery (pun intended) baked goods- this spot is unlike anything else in the area. Plus the waitresses and staff are the kindest and welcome anyone and everyone. You can really tell that Butterfields is a place of love, great food, and warm hearts!

The best place for breakfast in the area! Their coffee is so good and they make fresh breakfast items every day. Best blueberry muffin I've ever had. Super friendly family-owned business. Everyone I saw had a smile on their face. I will definitely be back! :)

If you're not someone who goes fishing then Deposit, NY may not hold a spot on your 'to see or do list'. If that's the case, I'd recommend making an amendment as Butterfields Cafe should not be missed. It's not far from the highway so it's an easy detour. You'll be greeted by a super friendly and knowledgeable staff including the orange tabby, Major. The food was creative, delicious, and downright beautiful. We were a party of 6 and experienced no wait time, though if there was a wait it would have been worth every minute. The Cafe itself is adorable and dining on the pretty deck made for a perfect breakfast. The only regret I have is that I left without purchasing one of their mugs for a keepsake and future refill. Highly recommend!
