What a joke indeed. It’s a drug infested zoo. This place should be shut down. Nobody answers the phone when you call. You have a big fat lazy who won’t go outside if the building was on fire. I’m gonna sit back and watch the walls tumble down Kirk Ray Smith.

I am grateful for them but they need to get better staff

Helping women and children are not their top priority, they need to really rethink how they treat new residents here. Was entered into program and kicked out, before ever even having an actual sit down meeting with a counselor. I was kicked out for failing a drug test for marijuana. Was kicked out to fend for myself in an abusive relationship, which has been physical on multiple occasions, I was actually strangeled while staying at this shelter. Just because someone has marijuana in their urine doesnt mean they are not ready and willing to do whatever they can to improve their child and their own wellbeing. I am a good person, hard worker and loving mother, I am in no way a drug addict, I've never been arrested in my life. I needed help and they turned their backs on me for something trivial when there is no much more on the line.

Incredibly kind and helpful. In a serious time of need this organization helped my family tremdously. Found out they also have a short term program for families who qualify to live in these apartments for 2 months while they help them get back on their own feet, and the families that are their, during the summer offer a tutor program for their children. Amazing place!!!

They can help any couple, parent or guardian without a place to go with at least one kid under 18. If they are full, call 211 for other options around.
