Why is the pool always closed? I have a guess. The new Grounds Manager and Greg From Corporate who manages 28+ properties (our new corporate overlords) don't treat the wants or needs of the Guests at this resort as a priority. If they did, instead of tearing all of the old washing machines and dryers out they could have spent a couple of bucks to relocate the machines somewhere else on the property. The pool gets chlorinated on a Saturday morning thereby shutting it down for the day when kids and guests want to use it, but nope! They don't think like that. It seems like one out of five times I want to use the last remaining amenity on this beautiful property the little tag is up that says "pool closed". I understand the park is going through renovations and personnel change and that takes time, but so far Greg From Corporate and our awesome Grounds Manager could maybe think about the guests instead of just profits.

Cramped sites. No privacy. Portable showers and bathrooms without mirrors. Tiny tiny. The pool was open and clean. The clubhouse was under construction. Lots of long timers there. Will not return.

My wife and I love Suncoast RV Resort. We are blessed to be able to use it for our home away from home. Other reviews have pointed out issues regarding flooding during heavy rains, palm trees needing trimmed etc. while these things are true, we are confident that plans are underway to remedy these issues. If I had a specific complaint, it would be the loss of James, the former Maintenance Supervisor. From day one of moving in, James welcomed us and went out of his way to address any issues we had. If I was working on my site, it never failed that he would stop by and see if I had any issues or complaints. I saw him do the same exact thing everyday with other guests. No disrespect to any of the current employees, but it seems different without him on property, utilizing his people skills and genuinely caring about folks and issues at the resort. Funny how changes in staff can impact the overall vibe and feel of a property. Denise the manager has also been wonderful to us both since day one. She has always been respectful, kind, and accommodating to us. We hope to continue to utilize this gem of a property for as long as they will have us.

Positives: stayed for a month in February. We met some of the nicest folks here who are staying longer term. They really look out for each other and super friendly. Location is nice. You are literally a few minutes from anything you could need/want. The pool while rundown was heated and operational. Negatives: ZERO pride of ownership and it shows. Anything goes here as long you give them your money. The clubhouse/office/ showers/restroom building is actually CONDEMNED! They have portable toilets and showers brought in. Zero maintenance of trimming trees and cleaning sites. Lot slabs are broken and crumbling, and muddy. Anything goes on your site. Old mattresses outside, old RV’s, old vehicles, etc. They say they are fixing everything but there is no timeline and it’s been this way for over a year. Garbage bins overflow routinely.

No to both questions.
We are currently staying at suncoast for a month and no wood fires but we have a propane firepit and use it all the time..they are good with those
With your RV(you must have an RV) you can make your spot how you want it
Sorry but I don't work here,I was fixing some TV problems. I work for Spectrum.

Call the office. Different rates for length of stay.
Sorry, we do not have on-site campers or cabin rentals at Suncoast RV Resort.
Suncoast is kind of in the middle of everything. Clearwater Beach, Hudson Beach, and eateries, shopping, etc. Love Suncoast RV. Management and staff is 5☆'s.
RV sites only and yes it's petty friendly... but no aggressive breeds and under 40 lbs
Call them and talk to them. They were great to me and my family. We also were there during the off season.
Call Suncoast and ask Caroline if she knows anyone renting. These are travel trailers and motorhomes.
