Such a cool museum! We had kids ranging from 4-11 and they all loved it! The Planetarium was great, we saw 2 shows. The smaller kids lost interest but all the adults liked it.

What an amazing place! I am so glad I opted for the Innovator membership instead of justa day pass. We will be back! Staff was awesome, informative and accommodating. Goft shol was so good I couldn't help but buy a rainbow manatee.

Nice little museum. Lots of different things to see. We went to the interactive planetarium presentation at noon which my daughters and I enjoyed. Quite interesting.

We visited the Dinoventure. They had multiple life size dinos that moved and roared. They did a good job with this exhibit. We also saw the manatees. They have two viewing areas, one that you can view through glass and another that is upstairs so you can look down into their tank. You can pay to visit the Dinoventure exhibit without visiting the rest of the museum. We did both and enjoyed all they had to offer. The Planetarium was my favorite part of the museum.

Is there a senior citizen discount or triple A discount admission fee?
I suggest to call directly and ask about show times.
They show times vary. Best to call and check as different shows.
Yes. Masks required. Planetarium is open and sat socially distant.
Better. State of the art star shows. Travel the universe wit expert astronomers
They have one. It's recommended that you call the day you plan on arriving. They will hold it.
Yes. There are different ticket prices for different people, students, seniors, under and age...etc
As someone stated before. There is a manatee in a water tank. I'd hope that answered your question.
No. There's an admission fee.
About $24 you can get free tickets at the public library, there might be a waiting list but it goes pretty quick to get tickets.
I'm not sure. Check the website bishop science.org
Not sure. But a fantastic dinosaur exhibit will open soon.
h
Yes. Tickets are $20 for adults, and there are lower rates for seniors, youth/college students and children.
Yes absolutely. 4 and younger is free adults 20 bucks.
Alejandra, yes, we are currently open. Visit our website for times and shows. We have three different shows in The Planetarium every day. www.BishopScience.org.
Probably
$20 and $19 for senior, kids under 4 are free and Sarasota county teachers
$16 per adult
There isn't a restaurant in the museum but there are several close by
I never knew that was a deal!!! I'd call them directly and ask.
I believe they were looking for volunteers but not actually hiring.
19.00 per adult
They have a number of shows throughout the day, usually one an hour,
Can't remember, but I know there's a senior price and a child price, no more then $20 each. Great place, make sure to go to the Planetarium
Please phone us
I'm not sure about that one
The Planetarium is open and shows play throughout the day. The schedule can be found at www.southfloridamuseum.org, under the planetarium tab. We also have evening shows. The schedule for those is on the website as well. Check out Stelliferous Live on Jan. 23. http://www.southfloridamuseum.org/events/stelliferous-live-14/
Yes, check their website. We got there when they opened and went through part of the museum and then went to the planetarium which you don't want to miss. It was hard to leave when the first one was over because I knew I would have enjoyed more shows (they are different). One of our group had a back injury and even though the chairs were comfortable, she couldn't sit any longer. So we went through more of the museum. We saw the manatees which was interesting also.
No cafe...just a gift shop. There is a smoothie place nearby though.
I might try calling the museum
Not sure at all as I was just visiting the museum. Didn't know they show movies
The other manatees are in for rehabilitation. So they change every so often.
Yes, there is a ramp at the entrance and an elevator to the second floor.
Yes. My wife has to use a wheelchair and it wasn't a problem anywhere in the museum.
