Multiple care packages have gone missing and never got delivered. Staff probably keeps them for themselves. My aunt had her brother bring her some new clothes, he put them in her drawers and the nurses/staff let other patients wear them. She complained to no avail. She was left outside in the cold and was asking anyone to please bring her back inside and was told she had to wait. I hear nothing but horror stories from my mom about the treatment of her sister in this place. Food is so bad that she is losing drastic weight. Keep ur loved ones away from this place.

I called and spoke with a woman in admissions to find out the status of her request to come to the facility. The woman would only state to me that they don't take Covid patients. I explained that my mom has tested negative twice and she just kept repeating that they don't take Covid patients. Maybe she could've explained that you will not except patients that previously had Covid. This is already extremely stressful trying to find the proper facility for your loved ones!

Concordia Village of Tampa is responsible for the death of my father. The nurse gave my father another patients medication and sent him to the hospital after he collapsed. This led to a lengthy hospital stay and death. We are devastated and we never received a formal apology or even an offer to reimburse us for the 6 weeks we paid for my Dad's room/board while he was in the hospital fighting for his life. The administration became cold and minimally cooperative. A complaint was filed with the state and they were investigated and cited for many things and also found in violation of state law. Its public record if you want info. Update: It's been a month since I posted this review and the received this response on here. The only reaching out Concordia has done is send a bill.

My husband has been Santa at Concordia Village in Tampa for the last 2 years. It was arranged by Rachel Crescentini the activities coordinator. My only experience with Concordia has been with Santa. I decided to write this review because of Rachel. My husband and I were amazed by her knowledge of each of the residents history. She knows them all by name, she knows their age and birthday. She knows their occupation and where they are from. She knows their children and grandchildren. I cannot imagine knowing all of these different people and keeping all of their information straight. They lit up when they saw her. She drew them into what was happening. It was really nice to see the happiness she brings to their lives. We will continue our visits to Concordia and to Rachel.
