Great little park to visit for some history, old buildings and an animal refugee which unfortunately we wasn't able to go to due to having our dog but hopefully another time.

We were here for 2 weeks and had a nice time. The weather was horrible though.. Way to much rain and very hot.. But would come and stay here again.. Very quiet and beautiful..

We stopped by here on Thursday and we’re thrilled to learn about the combo ticket with the wildlife refuge next to it. $10.70 for two adults combined for both parks combined with our son being under 5 so he was free, was a bargain! We enjoyed the museum here. Friendly staff, clean, and extremely well laid out and labeled. We filmed a video of both locations and is available on our channel on YouTube. Highly recommend and we definitely would stop by again!

Love that they have the miles mapped out on the trail. The best days are Pioneer Park Days at the beginning of the year. So many tractors and small engines, also got love the shopping.

It is first come first serve. Always plenty of space available. Leave a note on office door and the park ranger will get back with you. Or look for a white county truck.
March 1-3 but i dont have the times it starts
I'd call to make sure, but I saw rvs alongside tents, and there was plenty of space. Along with a museum, there is a shower house with bathroom, boat launch, and an awesome wildlife refuge.
Yes you can I believe, the 1 vehicle is referring to ur tow vehicle..
Elizabeth Lucas yes just remember that the park ranger lives their on the ground. He'll come around alot of time.
No. Pioneer Park is first couple, first serve and never takes reservations.
You don't have to be a resident of Hardee county to visit Pioneer park. I'm a native resident of Hardee and have moved to a different county, and we visit all the time. Just walk the trails or play at the park. You can also use the pavilions or rent out the house for events. Non require you to be a resident.
Rv. Section is open and ready for business! I believe that it's $129/wk. And that's for a 50amp hook up!
No. They have water and electric. But you have to go to the dump to get rid of waste water.
The park hasn't been completely full the last ten years. It has come close but not full.
Usually not a busy time. It's just after Pioneer Park Days.
No. But if u go next to the fire dept. There is a public basketball court at the civic center in zolfo
If you plan on parking for a canoe trip then overnight parking at the boat ramp is available.
Yes. Park at the boat ramp parking. Overnight parking is not available at the main parking lot up front.
Yes. You can call the park office for time.
Best I can tell is around $200 plus tax. I would check with the city to find out for sure.
No it was Feb 28 till March 1
I would say that is still true. Big grounds and I use my bike for stability and to haul cargo from the flea market.
$5.00 per day, or $10.00 for the whole event.
Golf cart yes buggies yes .. I see a lot of them there .. not sure about side by side
You need to contact the office during business hours and they can help you or log on the website for Pioneer Park.
I stayed there last summer I kind of remember the manager saying they store campers but no price
"Pioneer Days" at Pioneer Park in Zolfo Springs.
Yes. There is also some re-inactment settlement in Polk County. Alafia Rendezvous.
Hours for parks are usually sunrise to sunset. However, the campground here has 24 hour access.
The cost is depending on your time there we stayed for a month it was 325.00
You will have to stop at the main office as you come in for rules on the gold carts
I hear its a tad different this year! A tad better. Check it out on FACEBOOK
Lots of space and secluded nooks with pavilions etc
