I was able to get out of bed today after losing my daughter. My husband encouraged me and drove me. I had my hair in elastic band. A full waiting room around 11am today, 3 stylists and me. I had an online appointment. My hair had tangles but the stylist who said sit down, take off your glasses, no please no kindness. She walked away without saying anything but I was in earshot… about my unkept self and she held a small powwow with the other stylist as she pointed and made fun of me. As she ripped through my hair she didn’t secure the top and I started to cry because of pain, humiliation and I told her she was upsetting me and hurting me. She acted as to hand me the brush. She made a statement that I hadn’t brushed my hair in a week. It’s not the truth, but I did need help after all isn’t that why people go to hair salons? My head hurts and still painful even 12 hours later and taking pain medication. My scalp is on fire. I told her that I am doing and trying my best since I lost my daughter. She says to me that she lost a brother. No death is worse than another but mothers aren’t supposed to live without children. I had gone here a few times before. My 3 boys and my husband go here. They are so upset that they have vowed never to return. I am hurt at how inconsiderate, aggressive she was with and towards me. You never know what happened to someone before they sit in your chair. However should introduce yourself, smile and say please and thank you…just like I did for you. When I asked her for her name she was hesitant. Just because I hadn’t had my hair done in a year (I don’t color), doesn’t mean I don’t know what a good haircut looks like, and how it should make me feel.

The price u oay for a haircut is $17.00. The price us listed on their pricing board and not decided by the stylist. Just a note that this price exists in west central Florida. It may be higher or lower in other parts of the country.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
