Initial review: solid bike! I haven’t been able to ride it much yet but it really is a joy to ride. I love the fact that if folds up and fits perfectly in the back of my RAV4 without having to put the seats down. The matte black is a great color..nice and stark. Perfect for bike riding along the beach watching the sunset! Shout out to Megan and Rob for being so helpful.

I swung by the warehouse and they were kind enough to let me test drive a couple of models. I ended up getting the X-5 through COSTCO. I love it! I have not had so much fun on a bike, since I was a kid. I recommend a heavy duty locking system and a good rear view mirror. The handle on the battery broke the first week I had the bike. I have worked around it. No worries.

This is a great little bike and doing business with Jupiter was a pleasure. First, we ordered them the day after Christmas (a Saturday) and they were delivered the following Thursday. Granted they only had to cross the state but they still get points. Their customer service was excellent. They kept us informed and updated. FedEx handled the shipping but I'll circle back to that. The bike took about 5 minutes to unfold and another 5 minutes to adjust. There are no real instructions but you really don't need any. It's simple. And the packaging that couldn't be recycled was less than 2 quarts. More points. The ride is comfortable and smooth. The aluminum frame is rugged and great looking. Controls are simple to use and the the ride is smooth. (I said that twice because it's that smooth). We bought two and they fit my wife at 5'4" and me at 6'1" although I'm borderline height for the bike. One bike did develope a clicking at the pedals. I'm certain FedEx is the culprit there. The box arrived damaged with a pedal sticking out. Jupiter is taking care of it, no problem. More points. Did I say the ride is smooth? My wife loves it. The suspension is very relaxed. It's fast enough at 16 mph for short hops and a run to the grocery. And a breeze to pedal with a 6 speed. This is a well engineered product with skilled customer service. Strongly recommended. Update 3 months later: Still a great bike. We live in a large community and my wife rides hers daily. I put a basket on the back of both bikes (post mount) and we ride a couple miles to the beach regularly. The three options for electric assist work well and it's a good little bike for running around without the assist. This is not a bike for a long haul. It's good for little jaunts and fun peddling. Bad point: This is small for me at 6'1". I put a long seat post and a 3" lifted handlebar on it and it's fine. There was minimal slack in the cables so it took a little to get it to work. Not a deal breaker for me but needs to be noted. Still a very nice unit

I love my Jupiter X5, its perfect for my height and weight, 5'4" 150 lbs. Also, I needed a brake adjustment and the technician at Jupiter warehouse fixed it right up and got me back on the road free of charge. Shout out to Meagan for her great customer service and gorgeous looks.
